I was told at the time of joining Sky that if I joined Sky then I will be paid for any contract cancellation fees from my last supplier.
What's the process for providing this information and receving the compensation for this cancellation.

You must provide a copy of the bill from your previous supplier where you have been charged an early termination fee and a copy of a statment showing that you have paid it and send these to Sky via this email address - switching credit @sky.uk (all one word without the gap)

It's not 'any' cancellation fees. It's a maximum of £100 for TV and a maximum of £100 for broadband.

HI
I hope you receive compensation. When I left BT, after speaking to Sky, BT did not give me a final bill that specified the payment was for early settlement, and so I got them to give me an email confirming this.
I returned Band Statement, showing payment, final bill and email to SkySwitching. They have simply sent me the same email requesting Statement and Final Bill 6 times and have not commented on my explanation and the email from BT. Wrote a letter to complaints, as you cannot speak to switching, on the 19th January. No response.
I cannot speak to anyone about it and no-one responds via email or to my letter. GOOD LUCK.

Find out moreThe emai you get back are not very clear but they will have sent these to you as what they need to see if a copy of your final bill from Bt with the early termination fee clearly shown and a copy of your statement showing that you have paid it. This is all they will accept.
