Chat Security Question Reset

I am being asked for characters from an original password and maiden name both of which fail security. Never had an issue in the past. The advisors say they cannot talk to me I have to reset the security questions. I am given 2 different number that ask me for the security questions which they reject. So how do I reset the security questions when it needs me to enter the security questions to speak to anyone and no real person to call and discusss. And no this is not the security question you see when you goto you sky account settings. It is something they keep saying was setup with the original account and have now stopped working so I can no longer speak to anyone at sky about my contract etc.!

There should be a 'telephone' password on your account - if you cannot remember this then they can ask other security questions but if you cannot provide a correct maiden name then it's going to be difficult to pass.

Try another agent and see if you can provide sufficient personal details to progress.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own

Re: Chat Security Question Reset

I finally got through to someone (after an hour of  calling and waiting). Had to go through the cancel all sky route to get to speak to someone in the end. They confirmed my telephone password and maiden name answers were correct. So the chat confirmation that asks you to type in certain letters of these words is not working correctly as I definitely entered them correctly (as I have been doing for 25 years) but today I get told nope they are not correct!!!! What a mess!
