Charged after cancelling

Why has a payment gone out of my bank after the termination of my full contract and broadband has been turned off a week ago.? Cancelled within the right amount of time and at the end of a previous contact.

Hi @Lisa8327 

Your Sky services are billed a month in advance so if you cancelled too late in the month your direct debit would still be taken for the following month. Sky should automatically process a refund to you.

The bill would have been created 14 days prior to the billing date so the fact you had given notice doesn't usually prevent this from happening. To speed up the refund process you will need to call Sky otherwise you could be waiting a while for it to be automatically refunded.
