Cannot notify moving home - technical difficulties

For two days, I have been trying to notify Sky that we are moving home - new address from 4 June 2026. I follow all the requested steps including successfully managing the two-stage verification. When I reach what I expect to be confirmation that the change has been noted, I get the message 'Sorry, we're having technical difficulties. Unfortunately, we have not been able to proceed with your order. Please try again later.'

I have 'tried later'!!

I have attempted the notification on my PC and on my phone via the Sky app.

I wonder if there is any other way that I can notify our impending change of address?

Give Sky a call and an agent should be able to help you with that. 

Call Customer Services by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky mobile or your Sky Talk landline if you have Sky Broadband. The forum doesn't allow the display of other numbers but official numbers to Sky from the UK are 03 numbers which are usually inclusive from non Sky phones.

 

All calls will start automated (aka 'the bot') which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and sometimes saying nothing when asked the reason for the call helps being put in the queue for an agent.

Hi, do you happen to know the customer services number if calling from a landline that is not linked to sky account. I am having the same difficulty in telling Sky we have moved - infact, I get letters to my new address yet all my app data is registered to the old address and not letting me update it. Nightmare as I am trying to upgrade a phone contract and dont want it delivered to our old house!!

The forum doesn't allow the display of other numbers but official numbers to Sky from the UK are 03 numbers which are usually inclusive from non Sky phone tariffs (similar to 01 and 02 numbers).

I have forgotten which number I used so I have to guess. But, guessing and putting the number on here seems to result in 'technical difficulties' and my reply being blocked. Someone else may know how to get round this.

There isn't a way round it. Even numbers in word format would be removed.
