Cancelling subscription

My contract ended 26th February 25 I spoke with Sky (recorded call) on 17th February to cancel my subscription & after speaking to two agents for a total of 45 minutes they confirmed the cancellation/closure & that no more costs beyond 26th February would be incurred. She also confirmed that I would receive an email confirmation, I did not. I emailed MySky to confirm the conversation on 17th February. . Sky emailed me today saying I owe them £69.50.  What should I do next?

You have to give notice to cancel (14 days for broadband and 31 days for TV so you wouldn't be able to cancel for 25 Feb.

Billing continues as normal during this notice period.  Bills are generated 14 days before billing date and they include the month in advance (even during notice period).

However, you should have received email confirmation of the cancellation.  If you haven't then I'm afraid it's another call.....

@Anonymous

Calling and cancelling on 17/02 means a 31 day notice period for TV and 14 for Broadband/Talk so depending on when your payment date falls you would be paying another bill. Bills are generated 14 days before your payment date. Any overpayment will be reimbursed in due course.
