Hi all , I cancelled my Sky TV account back in April 2020 as the service was no longer required . Received an email from Sky confirming the service would be cancelled on a particular date a few weeks later . With the confirmation email from Sky , I had assumed that was the end of the Direct Debit but we have recently found that Sky have been taking payments ever since !
Sky are now refusing to reimburse me with the money that was taken since the agreed.
Sky claim that the Sky plus box remained plugged in and the service was in use ? Should it be the case that a sky box can still be used after the service has been cancelled ?
What is the best approach to get a refund back?
best regards

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe box can be used to watch the free channels only without an active subscription.
I would fill in he form here to register a complaint:

If you can demonstrate to Sky when you cancelled your service, you may be able to obtain a refund from Sky for the last few months but from previous posts you're unlikely to get a refund from 2020,on the basis, that you could have raised it with them before.
