Cancelled service charged

I changed broadband providers and my sky service was finished on the 28th of April, but I have been charged for 01 May - 01 June. What is the best way to go about requesting a refund?

That bill like your previous ones would have been created 14 days earlier so do you now see a credit on your account for the overpayment ?
