Cancellation fees
Good evening,
I entered into a contract 8/8/2024 for 18 months with sky broadband, on the 12/09/2024 they informed me of a price increase. The email states if I wish to leave within 30 days of the notice of price increase I can without penalty. I have been chatting online for over an hour with an agent and they're saying I have to pay £259 is this correct?
many thanks

Re: Cancellation fees
You can leave penalty free for broadband/talk only if give Sky notice within 30 days of being sent the price increase email so early termantion fees wouldn'tapply for this but would if you also have TV from Sky.

Re: Cancellation fees
I have told them I want to stay with sky tv but want to change my broadband due to price increase, they're saying I can't and they will add these fees to my next bill.
