hI
I have been a sky customer for over 25 years, I moved home and cancelled my sky account, 2 months before I moved, I was told there was no cancellation fee, they are now trying to charge me for 3 months.
They also could not provide the broadband speed with the package, that is why i changed to virgin
Thanks

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreDid you get confirmation of cancellation?
You also have to give 31 days notice and billing continues as normal (including the month in advance). The next bill (assuming the account has cancelled) will generate a corresponding credit.
We can't see bills here...

Thank you, I probably did, but it went to my work email address, 9I am no longrt there) I gave plenty of notice to sky, but they are still saying I owe £371.96!

If you are past 18 months you need to give Sky 31 days notice to cancel.
Yes it is unreasonable but Sky hold all the cards with the contract we agreed.
You could phone sky ask them to listen to the previous recording of the call and ask Sky to honour the information given.
Good Luck.

Yes I was sent the packaging, that took 6 months to find out I had returned it, they were trying to charge me for that as well!
