Hi,
I recently moved house and was told by Sky that they could not supply me at my new address, they confirmed that this could not be done and that my broadband and Tv connections would have to be cancelled and charges would be waived due to Sky not being able to supply my new address, after initially saying they would be £189. Four weeks later I have received an email stating that I now owe £238 in cancellation fees.
Has anyone else been lied to on the phone then Sky have gone back on their word?

I'm not sure you have been lied to as it could be that the system has detected that the account has been cancelled early and not for the reason due to not be able to supply broadband at your new property so I would call them again about this especially if you see that this charge has been added to your account.

Re: Cancellation charges
@Cygan I assume you've challenged them. What did they say?

Re: Cancellation charges
Only received the email tonight but I'll be ringing them tomorrow, I just wondered if anyone else had had this.

Re: Cancellation charges
I'll ring them as soon as I can in the morning depending on bank holiday opening times and find out about this in that case, thank you.
