What different ways?

If you are cancelling Broadband/Talk altogether you need to contact Sky and give the required notice of 14 days. Remember that if you are still in a discounted 18/24 months deal Sky will likely impose cancellation charges.

Return packaging for any equipment Sky expect back will be sent out to you near the end of any notice period. Remember to keep any proof of posting indefinitely.

You will need to speak to an agent. An email will not suffice on its own as Sky cannot verify you're the account holder.…

call Customer Services by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky mobile or your Sky Talk landline.

All calls will start automated which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.

@Rebeccalear

You have a Sky Talk landline (it's bundled with the broadband service) but you've chosen not to connect a phone handset.

@Rebeccalear

If it is available then there might be a messaging service you can use to do this.

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-broadband

Select "No, I still need help" at the bottom of the page on the above link.

@Rebeccalear

These are the current methods for contacting Sky. (Depending on your reason for making contact some methods will be more appropriate than others) …

🔶call Customer Services by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky mobile or a Sky Talk landline.

All calls will start automated which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.

Note: if your services are restricted due to a missed payment phone contact is unlikely to work.

🔶online help via this link
https://www.sky.com/help
Towards the bottom of the link it MAY provide a phone number in a section called ‘Need more help’.

🔶 Sky Assistant should also be available via
https://www.sky.com/help
for most service issues and gives you 24/7 help and a quick response. It will provide you with multiple choice options based on your problem and will provide troubleshooting steps to fix any service issues.

🔶Social Media You can also get in touch via the messaging services on: Facebook, Instagram, or X (links at the bottom of the forum page).

The other issue you'll have is towards the end of your 14 day notice period, Sky will send out return packaging for your hub. This will only be sent to the account address. You can use any packaging as long as it’s secure and you may want to put a note inside with your account number and a list of equipment that is included. This link explains about how to receive an email with your return labels through Royal Mail.

Keep your proof of posting safe and indefinitely and if you use Royal Mail’s collect from home service, keep a record of the tracking number.
