Happy New year everyone. I telephoned Sky to notify them of my holiday dates and asked to cancel Ad Skipping. But they have taken payment. I shall need to contact then them for , hopefully, a refund ?
anyone else had this problem?

Not sure of the relevance of your holiday dates (as you are charged even if you are on holiday).
Also, you have to give notice to cancel subscriptions - usually 31 days and you are billed as normal during this period. (Subsequent bills will generate the appropriate credit)
Did you receive email confirmation of the cancellation?
