My Father in law who lived alone has unfortunately had to move into a care home full time with 12 months left on an 18 month sky tv and broadband contract. Can we cancel this contract without paying up the charges for the full term? Appreciate he can if he subsequently dies. Thanks.

Find out moreIf you are the account holder then you are going to need to talk to Sky about this as only they can say if you will be able to do this but as I'm sure you are aware they would be within their rights to say that it can't be cancelled or if they agree that it can that the remaining 12 months would have to be paid off.
