As we get older we are reveiwing the accounts we hold and trying to make things as easy as possible upon first death. Can a Sky account be made joint between my wife and I, so control can pass across more easily.

Short answer is no. Sky don't allow joint accounts. In the event of the death of the account holder the other half contacts Sky as per this link
