My mum is moving home. She is currently with Virgin Media but they do not supply her new address. She wants to have Sky Stream with Sky Broadband in her new home taking her old phone number with her.
If she places the order now (a week before she moves) can she specify a date for the equipment to arrive and the service to start? She doesn't want the equipment turning up early while the old residents are still living there.
Or does she have wait until she has moved in before ordering and then have to wait for the equipment to arrive and service to activate?

Glass is normally next day delivery, I don't think you can specify delivery dates for this either.
Delivery would also be to the supply address.

reason stream is nearly always next day delivery and will be activated automatically 14 days after delivery and chargeable if you don't do it beforehand regardless of whether your broadband connection is up and running or not which as @GD1 mentioned has a lead time of two weeks
