Calls from sky

I am getting calls addressing me by name offering discount for being prompt payer calls state they are Sky ? Is this a scam

Almost certainly a scam: Sky typically collects subscriptions automatically, so 'prompt paying' isn't really a thing and certainly not grounds for a discount.

With any calls from 'Sky' (especially unexpected calls) if the caller asks for your previously agreed telephone password to confirm you're the account holder (which I would expect a genuine Sky agent to do) initially give an INCORRECT one on purpose. If the caller doesn't challenge it then you know it'll be a scam call.

That will be a scam calls as Sky do not make such calls for prompt payers so just put the phone down on them should you receive any more such calls.

It seems your personal data may have been harvested.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
