called by Emily 0800 098 7826, switch over to SKY, went through some details but balked at passing banking details dropped out of the call

Checked on line Sky lists another number as genuine?

Any way to confirm?

I take you are not currently a Sky customer with any services as I would be careful (as you quite rightly were) about giving out financial details to someone that calls you out of the blue.
