We changed from BT to Sky Broadband in December and I have paid £440 to swap over and sky said they would pay half and they haven't done this

@Amy+Jade - you have to pay the early termination fees and then you can claim back upto £200 from Sky as per the link provided in the previous post.

I think you have misunderstood how this works as Sky doesn't pay anything towards this bill but once you supply them with the documents showing you have been charged an early termination fee and another showing you have paid it then they should add a credit to your account which can be used to pay or part pay a future bill:

Switching to Sky Broadband? - We’ll credit you up to £200*
Switching to Sky TV? - We’ll credit you up to £100*
Switching to Sky TV & Broadband? - We’ll credit you up to £300*
