Broadband renewal
Hi
I didn't think our contract was due for renewal until October 26 (as told to me by the customer service assistant I spoke to this morning about our tv package), however, I've received an email saying it should be renewed today!
I am concerned - I cannot afford the price quoted in the email and need to ensure I'm not put onto the package quoted in the email automatically. The emails says £64 until October then £68.
Many thanks

We're only other customers here I'm afraid, you'll need to phone or chat with Sky directly. Either 150 on a Sky broadband landline or Sky mobile or have a look at https://www.sky.com/help/articles/contacting-sky
What does your account say, be careful to not click on any link in the email just in case.

To be honest @SarahJS64 i'd be inclined to ignore it.
I think there is a bug is the notification system at Sky which is triggering renewal emails and notifications. I'm in contract for both TV and broadband until November, however several times over the past 3 months i've received notifications on the My Sky app that my contract is due to renew and here's a deal ( although the contract end/renewal date in these notifcations have been categorically wrong - and have changed several times everytime the notification tile decides to appear and then re-appear a few weeks later).
Suffice to say there have been no changes to my account or contract status whilst i've been ignoring these erroneous notifcations, as i know its notification that is wrong.

If you go to " you products" in the my Sky app the date your minimum term ends is shown against each item of your Sky package, Also if you look at your bill again in the.my Sky app in " bills and payments" against each item will show the date when any in - contract discount finishes.

Looking at the billing to see when in-contract discounts end isn't necessarily the best way, as it's possible to have a discount applied that doesn't last the full minimum term.
