Broadband change on price agreement
Hi i changed broadband package with sky on agreement that it wouldnt be higher than my original bill, now they have just charged me nearly double my previous price. Whats my legal standing here because this is unacceptable behaviour and i would never have changed broadband package or just found cheaper option elsewhere as i dont even use sky for anything else.

Re: Broadband change on price agreement
How recent was this?
If you’re a new customer your first couple of bills are usually higher, basically due to the dates they cover (more than the usual number of days). In effect you’ll be charged from the date of the activation up until the end of that billed month, and for the next month in advance. Check your future bills to see if they reflect the amount you were expecting. Also see these links

Re: Broadband change on price agreement
We obviously can't see your bills. If the negotiations were on the phone give Sky another call. They should be able to listen back to the original call to hear what was agreed. Otherwise you could make a complaint
