Billing

I made a payment either 22nd or 23rd may It shows up on the my sky app as it has been paid and my balance is £0.00 But it's just come through to my bank that is is due soon I am so confused

Anything with a minus in front of it is a credit. So the payment you made didn't pay this months bill as Sky have taken that from your usual payment method. The payment you made has gone on your account as a credit which will then be used to pay June's bill.

 

As advised earlier, there is no need to make manual payments as Sky will take the money from you each month via whatever payment you have set up on your account.

There's no need to make manual payments.

 

Indeed, making a manual payment may well count towards next month's bill and not the current one if Sky is processing it.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

I know I don't need to make manual payments 

 

I feel like for my benefit and so I am not tempted to spend the money in my bank I pay it manually so it's one less thing for me to worry about

If you keep making manual payments and you get your timings wrong as you did here then the payment will not pay the bill but will go on your account as a credit to pay the following months bill so this is something to make note of should you keep doing this.
