I tried to ring them but they will not take my call unless I pay the £59.00
That's correct. Services won’t now be reinstated until the arrears Sky believe you owe have been paid and you’ve also set up a new continuous payment method. Until then any calls to Sky will only prompt you to pay.
Restrictions are applied automatically and can’t be overridden by agents. Sky don't allow payment plans on overdue live accounts, nor will they consider promises to pay on or by a certain date.
If your payment is 2+ weeks overdue you will have to pay the next bill as well. If you’re in arrears for 56+ days Sky can fully terminate your subscription (but you’ll still owe the arrears).
If this is part of a credit agreement purchase (Sky Mobile or Sky Glass) non payment can see the credit agreement cancelled at which point the full amount becomes due in one payment.
Once your full payment has cleared and is in Sky’s account your services should be reinstated, but this may not be instant. Any payment you make over a weekend or on a Bank Holiday won’t be processed until the following week.
You should be able to pay the bill and set up your direct debit via the MySky app or online using this link

My bill amount is £49.00 per month so why did they charge me £112.00 March then £171.00 April and noe £59.00 may this is not right but no one will talk to you about this
Have a look at your bills on the my Sky app or by logging in to your account on the Sky.com web site. You see you present bill, past bill, and future predicted bill for next free months. They fully itemised showing the amount for iteam and any discounts apples and when they finish. I suggest you look at your present bill and past bills to see what has changed and the reason for the dramatic Increases. Unfortunately you are going to have to pay the outstanding amount before Sky will speak to you. But once done talk to Sky with any queries you may have on them and if there has been some error I sure Sky will, credit you.

Re: Billing paymemts
@Neil2026- that would be a late payment charge. I'd suggest first checking your bill as @DaveDrizen posted. You can compare with a previous one to see why they're so much higher.

Hi @Neil2026- It is a bank holiday, you may have to wait until Tuesday before it clears.
