Billing bug

I subscribed to Sky Podcasts on iOS for £2.99/month.

The app was not logged into any Sky account, yet it allowed the purchase.

I have been charged (bank statement shows SKY), but I have no subscription, no access, and no way to cancel.

This appears to be a billing bug as the app should a) not have allowed bypass of Apple store rules, b) not allowed a subscription to be setup with no way of fulfillment.

Please escalate this to the Sky Messaging Team.

What actually have you subscribed to as I am struggling to find what it might be ?

This is the AI suggestion on the only way to contact the team - so if Sky AI is reading please escalate to Messaging team.

Since sending this though, I've found the only way of cancelling is via the email sent to my apple email (only setup for the ios account and not monitored). Which means that the only way of managing this 'account' means having to keep the link in that email. Not a great experience! Its also agaisnt App store rules!

The messaging Team cannot help as already advised to you by @caesarome  Google AI is incorrect and it can't escalate a community post.

 

There is also no AI on the community your posts are answered by real living  humans.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
