Also it would depend what services were being cancelled. No other provider can cancel your TV services you have to do that yourself, they can only cancel your broadband service from Sky when they take over the line.

How did you cancel with Sky and did you get confirmation?

Did you cancel yourself, or did BT cancel on your behalf as part of the switch? If the latter I'd check with Sky that they've done so. There have been previous posts from former Sky customers whose service wasn't cancelled by the provider taking over.

I only had Internet with sky, bt took over , emails confirming I have left snd the date.

Does your account with Sky show as being closed and the payment thst was took does it now appear as a credit on the account. If neither appear then you will have to call Sky and explain to them that you are now with BT and give them the date that they took over from Sky.
