If you are still on universal credit you would need to make a new claim for skys social tariff

Have you checked the dates for that bill? As a new customer it's likely to be for longer than a month.

Did they ask for your national insurance number to verify your benefit entitlement?

Thats the only way they can verify you claim for broadband basics

Could you post you bill?

You may have to call them again to give your national insurance number

This link explains the process if you’re eligible for Sky Broadband Basics.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-social-tariff

As stated, in order for Sky to renew they carry out checks with DWP and they will need your NI number. The social tariff now lasts for 24 months and then reverts to the full cost but if you’re still eligible you will then need to re-apply.
