Bill says paid

I was due to pay my balance (18th June 2025) and I went on to make a payment and the account says received (the bill amount) and balance is £0 but I haven't paid the bill yet. Does anyone know why it's doing this has this happened to anyone else.. what can I do

This might have happened because Sky have taken it from whatever payment details you have setup on your account so a credit or debit card or a direct debit. You should not have to make manual payments which I presume you were going to do for this very reason.

There has been no money taken from our account though. We set our account up for us to make manual payments instead of direct debit. But our bill still says paid even though no money has been took and we haven't manually paid it.

Manual payments are against the T&Cs. You have to have a payment method setup on your account and if at any time it's removed the T&Cs also state Sky can use any payment methods they have on record for your account to request payment on the due date.

Sky don't allow manual payments. The contract you agreed to requires payment by direct debit or automated monthly card payments.

Check back either later today or tomorrow as it does change to paid when it is in the process of being taken.
