Re: Speak to an actual person re the cancellation of my account due to price increase
@MadLou18
To cancel your Sky Q TV subscription fully, if you’re out of contract you’ll need to give Sky the required 31 days notice. The latest T’s and C’s explicitly state you can’t cancel when still in a minimum term deal unless Sky agree. If they agree you’ll have to pay the remainder of your discounted term.
Select ‘Need more help’ at the bottom of the following link which will lead to contact details.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-tv#contact-leave
(Make sure the flag in the bottom right corner is the correct one ie; UK or ROI).
UK customer ~ The link may include an email link and also a Message Us option (which is normally available between 9am and 7.30pm).
ROI customer ~ it’s only by calling Sky Ireland or writing in.
If you successfully cancel you should receive an acknowledgment email from Sky.
If you are cancelling Sky Q, return packaging will be sent out near the end of your notice period. It’s important that you obtain proof of posting and keep it safe and indefinitely.
Sky customer since 2001

Re: Speak to an actual person re the cancellation of my account due to price increase
I have moved abroad I cancelled my sky account as due to their licensing they can not provide sky abroad
i paid my account in advance and was told due yo errors made over my cancellation that I would be refunded £16-50 but not until august
they have sent me an email telling me I had to pay £42-57 but I can not view sky due to their license restrictions and they owe me £16-50 as refund
they are expecting me to pay £42-57 and if I don't even though I have been a customer for over twenty years or more and I informed them I had to close my account
they want to charge me another £10-00 if I don't pay the £42-57
i have been given incorrect information bern told my 31 days would finish on originally start of July then I was told they'd been a technical error and then I was told agai. They would honour the original date then they changed it to over a week io more later
I feel as a gesture of good will and got my customer loyalty they should forgo the amount of £42-57 and the refund and close the account t without my having yo pay anything more
