Bill payer poorly - want to change details to another family member
Afternoon all, I have a query?
I live with my parents and this is a query on their behalf. My father, the bill payer/sky subscriber, is seriously ill with terminal cancer and I am wondering if the Sky account can be changed to my name and my bank account, (daughter who lives with them.)
Would I have to change the account to a new one? Any advice would be great.

Accounts cannot be transferred. (Only in a few circumstances that don't apply here).
The account that pays the bill can be changed however.
If you want a new account then the account holder would have to cancel (if they are not in a minimum term contract), return all the equipment and then you take out a new contract.

In addition to the advice provided already it could be beneficial your father being registered with the Sky Accessibility Team who may be able to help now or in the future. Once registered there are also different methods of communication with this team other than phoning
