Bill issues

I recieved an email in July regarding renewing my contract, saying if i dont do it now the price is going up so i phoned up to renew my contract and was given a price of £76 which i was happy with, a couple off weeks later i noticed in my account that the price had gone up to £85 i phoned and asked why they told me it would sort it self out near payday but it didn't so i phoned again and was told by a manager that is the price and we are not moving, what i'm agrieved buy is that i asked in the begining am i getiing the same package for £76 and was assured that nothing had changed, but they failed to tell me that it didn't include HD or multiscreen just to get me to commit to 24 months. so later that day i phoned to cancel Sports as i can not afford £85 only to be told it's going to cost me £60, i can't remember them giving me £60 when i asked for Sports to be added. iI have been a Sky customer for 24 years and i feel let down for my loyalty, Sky certainly live up to thier reputation by once signed up we will increase your plan, i'm just pleased i didn't sign up for broadband and mobile, that was a lucky escape.

I'm with EE for broardband and mobile and it's always very clear what you are paying

@dsotm58

You might want to put in a complaint giving the date and time you spoke to Sky about this:

@dsotm58 ypu might want to raise a complaint about the £76 morphing into £85. I'd suggest using the webform option here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/how-to-make-a-complaint

The £60 for cancelling Sky Sport is standard.

SKY TACTIC TO RENEW CONTRACT

Just a heads up for anybody who has to renew their contract and how Sky con you.

I reicieved an email outlining the new price if i didn't sign up within a given time, this was significantly more than the £73 for Signature and Sports, i phoned Sky to discuss my new 24 month contract and was told everything was staying the same for £71 because i was a VIP, at this moment in time £71 is a lot of money for me so i was happy to go ahead (big mistake), looking at my account i swa that my next and future bills are £85, what the advisor or shall we call him conman failed to tell me is that the £71 didn't include HD and multiroom, i phoned to complain and was told it will come right come bill day this did not happen, so phoned again hoping to sort this out but they wouldn't move, so i decided to cancel Sports at a cost of £60 [removed], what Sky failed to see is that they are losing £744 where if they knocked £10 off i would most proberly kept Sports ans thier lose would be only £262.

Poor customer service for somebody who has been a customer for 23 years counting the days till my contract ends
