Being recharged

I have already paid my bill £58.06 Yesterday they switched off my sevices and still want me to pay it again. I have emailed my proof yet Sky are ignoring me. What can I do?

@Jacqueline28

As well as paying this bill have you also setup your payment details again as this needs doing if you are yet to do this.

Does your Sky bill now show you have nothing outstanding against it because if you were two weeks late paying this bill you do need to also pay the next one.

Re: Being recharged

Yes my payment details were given after my payment but they are still asking for another payment.

This is so wrong.

I can't afford to repay it.

When I call because I can't pay it again they hang up so I can't speak to an adviser either.

@Jacqueline28 I assume you and @Jacqueline281 are the same person.

Looks like you made a manual payment far too close to your norrmal payment date for Sky to take account of it. It has therefore been applied to your account as a credit towards your next bill. It looks as though a second, automated credit card payment was taken on 4 August to settle your current bill. I'm not sure why Sky are asking you to pay again.

It's best not to make manual payments. They're unnecessary.

You seem to have added an additional user name. Can I confirm @Jacqueline281 is also you?

Re: Being recharged

What can I do now?

I can't always meet my payment date so I can when I am paid and always done manually or sky take two payments instead of one. I can't afford that.

Would you be able to switch me back on please?

You're not speaking to Sky... Just other customers.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

@Jacqueline28

We are fellow customers on here. We can't switch anything on.

As stated above any manual payment was unnecessary and has correctly gone as a credit on your Sky account (to be used on your next bill).

Best to let the Direct Debit or continuous card payment you have set up (as per the T's and C's) do the transaction Sky will be expecting.

It does seem you'll have to pay it again in order to have the restriction removed which I'm afraid to say was messed up by your manual payment.

Re: Being recharged

It has never messed up before.

I get what you are saying.

@Jacqueline281

The £58.06 in the big blue box on your iimage is not what you owe as it is what is owed to you as it is a credit so if you don't make any more manual payments it should be used to pay a future bill.

Re: Being recharged

But they have still cut my sevices and I don't know how to get hold of them. Because when I call it says that I owe them money and until I have paid i can't get the service back on.
