I left Sky on 5 September, which was my contract end date. I moved to PlusNet.
Today I have been charged £66 (which was the increased monthly fee if I didn't take Sky's renewal offer). I can see there is an estate invoice of £71 for October.
How do I get a refund of the £66 and be confident that Sky have actually cancelled?
I have tried the online help and got stuck in a never ending loop of links about not cancelling, being pushed to talk to an adviser about not cancelling or robot responses that didn't help.
Thanks.

This has happened as the bill was created 14 days earlier so when you were still with Sky, if you now see a credit on what will have been your October bill you will need to contact Sky nearer to what will have been that billing date.
We could usually help you via here by escalating your post to Sky about this but this is not available at present so you will have to contact them yourself so under “Need more help” if it is available should be the number to use:
You can also contact Sky via social media:

Hi @Tele1975 Did you get the standard one step switch "sorry you are leaving" from Sky email and possibly, letter? If not, it looks like Plusnet have screwed up. It is Plusnet you should chasing.

Re: Been charged after leaving
Hi - yes, got the confirmation from Sky that I had cancelled and the follow up message saying they are sending a return box.

Re: Been charged after leaving
Thank you - that makes sense. I did try the online help but it appears some of the services were down, and as noted I got caught in a loop - which is frustrating! Will try calling tomorrow as that may be the quicker route.
Thank you.
