Auto compensation

I recently revived auto compensation due to my broadband not being installed and activated when agreed. I have since then moved home and no longer require the broadband and it's still not connected. When I cancel my account what happens to the compensation as it's on my sky account

Re: Auto compensation

@Sophie8591

Hi, are you meaning received or revived your auto compensation claim with sky?

I presume the former. As such, if this is the case upon closure of your account and there has been a credit left, it should be sent out to you by cheque - as I remember it the case from years ago - or it could be returned to you if you left the direct debit in place. Returning to the account on file.

I hope this information helps. If this does not happen, I'd keep the account open and seek an advisor at sky to help issue you this credit before full closure to make sure you get it.
