Are there two different Retention teams?
When I called the retention team a few years ago I got connected to an Asia-based team with limited flexibility to give discounts. After that I was transferred to a UK-based team that had more flexibility to allow a larger discount and therefore retained my custom.
Is this still the case, or is it that when a calls handler states they're in the retentions team there's no higher authority to provide a better deal? If there is, is there a direct phone number?

Re: Are there two different Retention teams?
@Another+One There are no direct numbers for any of the teams. Also the discounts offered will never be as good as those previously given as has been the case since Comcast took over.

Re: Are there two different Retention teams?
Ok, but are there still two teams: an initial team that will attempt to retain customers, and if unsuccessful, will pass the customer on to a more experienced team?
