Annoyed

I paid my bill it's been over 24hrs and still have not had my channel's reinstated and I am unable to speak to a human

I'm really fed up with this I'm house bound and my TV is my only outlet. I can't get to speak to a human to put all my channels up and running Iafter paying my bill ibthen had to pay another £13,99 to get my channels  back and still after over 24hrs nothing.

Nothing is helpful just want my channels reinstated been with sky for many many years and I think the treatment I am getting is absolutely disgusting

@Santha  You're not contacting Sky Customer services by posting here, this is a customer helps customer community.

 

If your service has been restricted that is normally due to an overdue payment.

 

Any payment made by card over the weekend will take a few days to clear, you also need to setup a new direct debit.

 

I'm not sure why you find it disgusting as Sky only restrict service when payments are overdue, personal circumstances are irrelevant as Sky apply their policy equally to all customers.

 

Subscription TV isn't a right, it's a luxury and you've agreed to the terms of service when you subscribed to Sky.

 

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

If your services are already restricted Sky won’t reinstate them until you’ve paid what they believe you owe (regardless of any individual circumstances) and you’ve also set up a new continuous payment method.

If your payment is two or more weeks overdue you will have to pay the next bill as well and if you’re in arrears for 56+ days Sky can fully terminate your subscription (but you’ll still owe the arrears). If this is part of a credit agreement purchase (mobile or Sky Glass for example) non payment can see the credit agreement cancelled at which point the full amount becomes due in one payment .

Once your full payment has cleared and is in Sky’s account your services should be reinstated, but this may not be instant. Any payment you make over a weekend or on a Bank Holiday won’t be processed until the following week.
