Admin charge for loyal customers???

I am trying to  amend and renew my subscription  but after agreeing the new figure by removing   multi room  and new net price I am told by the agent I will be charged a admin fee to renew!! 13 years plus platinum customer with only a couple of free films  during that time and you want an admin fee, what a disgrace  when cheaper rates are available to new customers  anyway!! I think this charge is unfair and  quite frankly ridiculous!

Indeed - I tend to negotiate that away but sometimes they dig their heels in.

 

Cancel if you don't like the deal - they tend to rethink matters...

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Be aware that threatening to cancel can result in your account actually being cancelled.  I did try and strongarm them into further cuts, but they just said fine and started processing the cancellation.

 

As stated, asking for this to be waived sometimes works.
