Account

My ex is trying to close the sky account with no luck. It's about 18 years old. It was in my name. He is still living the house we shared. He has tried phoning they can't help him. To close the account and re open in his name.

Only the named account holder can close an account: that's a basic security precaution.

If you want the account closed then as the account holder only you can do this as you ex will be unable to as they have discovered.

If you do cancel remember that return packaging will be sent out to the account address for the return of any equipment Sky are expecting back. The onus is on you as the account holder to do this. Once sent off kept your proof of posting indefinitely.
