Hi @RUTHAPPLEGATE72   If you are talking about broadband/home phone, then that is the way switching works. It is probably somebody that has put down the wrong telephone number or address, especially in flats or multi occupancy. You are required to positively reject the takeover. If it is deliberate, it is called slamming.
