Account services restricted

Hi

 

I can see other people have had this issue trying to browse for a new phone, or other services, on the My Sky App and website and getting a message stating

 

'Your services are currently being restricted

There is an outstanding action on your account which is resulting in your services being restricted. Find out how to remove these restrictions.'

Or

That there is a bill outstanding

 

The Sky Agent on webchat confirmed I have no outstanding payments, and never had any, and can see no restrictions on my account yet I have been blocked for over a month. The agent sadly seemed more interested in trying to sell me products rather than resolving the issue.

 

Has anyone had similar issues and been able to fix it? Grateful for any help.

This will be something that Sky will need I look into for you if you have no outstanding payments at all on your bill and that includes Sky Marketplace so I would suggest either calling them again or getting in contact via social media as there are there are some links at the bottom of this page you can use.
