Paid a part bill in mid April so last month

I think you have to pay the total that Sky are asking for before Sky will speak to you. If try and phone it just results in a message that you need to need to make full payment. This being the case the only option is to make the full payment, once done and cleared by the bank which could take a few days. You will then be able to contact with sky again about having your service restored. Depending on on the outcome of that  discussion and your service is restored Sky will possably give you a credit probably on a future bill for the non return of equipment fee,
