Account payment issue
Hi I have not payed my bill for bit but am now in a position to sort out the bill which is £146 but as left for a while they have now added in a £117 fee for not sending equipment back. But I want to pay the £146 and just carry on my contract not £263 with the equipment fee. It doesn't let you speak to anyone to discuss??

Sounds like you have left it too long.
If your payment is 2+ weeks overdue you will have to pay the next bill as well. If you’re in arrears for 56+ days Sky can fully terminate your subscription (but you’ll still owe the arrears).
If this is part of a credit agreement purchase (Sky Mobile or Sky Glass) non payment can see the credit agreement cancelled at which point the full amount becomes due in one payment.

Ok thank you. Just confused as when I log in it says pay the £146 to get re-instated but then when I clock on that it then goes up to £263 instead which the equipment fee

What Sky services do/did you subscribe to?
Did Sky send return packaging asking for the equipment back?

I have/had sky q and WiFi. I didn't send anything back if I'm honest. I'm more than happy to pay the £146 outstanding bill bit and want to get everything back on again, but not the £117 equipment thing.

Realistically you'll need to pay the full amount to speak to them.
They would normally refund the non-return charge either if you can continue with your contract of when you return the hardware.

The OP hasn't cancelled. It reads as a lengthy non payment issue resulting in Sky adding non return fees as well.

I haven't cancelled anything. I just owed a bill payed a bit of it and still owe £146 to go happy to pay and I want all my services back on! just not this extra £117 fee for not sending back equipment

Unless I am missing something here why would non return fees be added if nothing was due to be returned unless a change on the account was made resulting in them being added in error ?

Oh sorry, yes they did send me a cardboard thing, that's why I wanted to sort nil out and carry on B4 cancelled but I don't know where I stand currently? Like I say my main question was why when I log in my account does it say to reactivate your services click here to iay your £146 bill then when click on that it goes up to £263

I'm taking it that the missed payments have built up, certainly over 56 days, and Sky have cancelled the subscription. What the OP hasn't confirmed yet is whether return packaging was delivered.
edit- OP has now confirmed packaging was delivered hence the non return fees being added.
