Account in credit

I would like to urgently arrange to receive the outstanding credit on my closed account. I would like someone to contact me about this as soon as possible.

No one is going to contact you from a post on a public forum.

Sky do not have an 'urgent' option for repaying credit - it takes 3-5 working days.

You can either contact Sky yourself or if your account is showing as in credit and you haven't cancelled your payment method then we can escalate to forum staff to process it.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

@ipsy
Refunds after cancelling a subscription should normally take about 6 weeks from the last day of connection, although posts on here suggest it’s taking longer.

Before we can escalate it to Sky please also confirm that what would have been the next payment date has passed.

Re: Account in credit

The payments go out on the 1st of the month. It is outrageous that Sky keeps customers' money!! I cancelled my subscription in July!! It should be an immediate return on the day the money should usually have gone to them!

Re: Account in credit

I'm not unhappy with your answer, just feel you could have been a lot less rude. I am an elderly woman and unsure of how these things work I thought these were messages seen by Sky.

@ipsy  This is a customer helps customer community, however we can ask the Community Messaging team, who are Sky Staff, to help you with a refund, would you like this to be done?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

What's 'rude' about it?

@ipsy

There aren't any rude remarks in that post either and the advice was correct.
