Account in credit after cancellation. How do I get this back?

My account is showin a credit due after cancelling my Sky broadband service. How do I get this back?
I thought it would have been credited to my bank account.

We could normally escalate this to Sky on here via their Messaging Team but unfortunately the process is currently switched off and we don't know when it'll return.

 

At present you will need to contact Sky and speak to an agent by other means; through social media, Sky Assistant or by calling in perhaps. When calling saying nothing when asked the reason for your call usually helps in getting put in the queue.

When did you cancel? Refunds can take 6 weeks from cancellation

Thank you for your quick reply, I only cancelled last month. Not sure why it should take six weeks, but I'll keep an eye out for it now that I know.

I only just now found a way to contact them by email, so we will see how long that takes for them to reply to that.
im 75 and was getting frustrated with the website and the virtual assistant and was getting nowhere.

For your information Sky don't use email for general communication so don't be surprised if you get no reply.

I have just had an automated reply to the form that I submitted saying that it may take 24 hours to respond, but I won't hold my breath. 😉
