Account credited with refund

Hello, I have recently received a refund to my sky account this is being used towards my monthly bill. What happens with my direct debit is it frozen until the money has gone as I don't want to pay twice? Or can it be refunded to my bank account instead? Thank you

@Jo+Silcox  The direct debit will not be used whilst there is credit available to cover the bills 

 

when the credit gets below the bill total the direct debit will kick in again automatically
