Account & Billining issue

Hello,

My name is Eirini [Removed] and I'm the account holder of BB & Talk account number [Removed]. I was told that the previous account holder Anca Milea had tranferrer the account on my name , as she was the last occupant of my apartment but has now left the country, but the bills have been payed through my bank account for the last 5 months ! On top of that I've been receiving random withdrawals from Sky , for example last week I was charged 17.17 £ , and the next bill shows 89£ charge , which is outrageous for a fast broadband bill, and I will be disputing ! Please let me know the best step forwards to rectify the account holder under my name, and if there is a package for broadband available for a reasonable price , alternatively I will be terminating my contract with Sky as there as many more affordable options .

@Eirini2  Your post has been temporarily removed as you've posted personal details, you should never post any personal details in apublic ciommunity.

 

In addition Sky don't transfer accounts between customers, the previous customer needs to have cancelled their account and you need to sign up at your new address, did this happen?

 

If you've been paying a direct debiot under the previous occupants account then I'm afraid this was incorrect and should not have been setup in this way.

 

Is the account still in the previous tenants name?  If so you won'tt be able to cancel it.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

If you have access to bills see what name is on them.  I suspect it's not and you may have an issue...

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
