Account Locked

Having to use my parents account to write this - 

 

I signed up to Sky yesterday with a new package (have never been with Sky before). I tried to log into SkyId but kept getting the error message:

 

Account locked

We apologise for the inconvenience, but we have encountered a problem with your account.

 

I have called Sky and they can't seem to work out what the issue is - I want to check my new order and tracking but can't do anything. Has anyone had this before as the technical guy I spoke to yesterday had no idea what the issue is. 
I must have signed up previously to a Sky account but it will not even let me change password.

I had the very same issue a number of years and ago and for me it took me three calls before someone knew what to do and manage to unlock it.

 

Have you tried calling the number shown here as it looks like it should be an automated process to get it unlocked:

That's the number I called twice yesterday. When I took out the new contract I said to the lady I can't seem to login and she said it's nothing to worry about but after a 1 hour call yesterday they now can't work out what the reason is for the block.

I had had the same issue.

I filled out an online form to delete my sky ID and provided the correct username. Sky emailed a day or so later that they deleted and unlinked everything.  Then I reregisteredthe email and everything was unlocked.
