£20 increase in monthly billing

My subsription went from £72 per month to £92 per per month without notice - apparently the discount on certain services was only for 18months and not the duration of my 24month contract ! Be warned community, they continue to apologise and tell me to phone the retention team who have not resolved the situation to my satisfaction just offer me a discounted new 24 month contract.... @87davids

Sky contracts have only recently moved to 24 month minimum term: that wasn't the case 18 months ago.

Re: £20 increase in monthly billing

Discounted periods are clearly shown in your online account and on future bills. so that onformation would have been visible to you for at least 17 months after you last renewed.

Your warning should be "check what you have agreed immediately after rencontracting".

Re: £20 increase in monthly billing

Ha,ha do you think seriously that a pensioner in his 70's checks the online discounts monthly and future bills when you believed you had, which I do have a 24 month contract. Sorry but by entering a 24 month contract I did not expect it to change until April 25.

Guess I should invest in a chrystal ball

Re: £20 increase in monthly billing

From a fellow pensioner, I have the time and inclination to check all the broadband and TV contracts I agree to.

I make sure they are exactly as I agreed.
