2 Step Verification - changing phone number

Hi,

 

I contacted sky a couple of days ago asking to change the number setup for 2 step verification on my account, as it was a completely random phone number that I didn't recognise.

 

The advisor told me this has been changed, and I received an email to say "there's been a request made to change your details". However, the number hasn't been updated yet.

 

is this something that takes a while to update? And help would be appreciated.

@Dobby7824 use your Recovery Code to turn off 2 step verification. Then you can set it up again with the correct mobile number, if you wish.
