family want to watch new Melissa McCarthy movie, Genie

We don't have a Sky account or set top box.

Have a smart TV with Netflix account.

If I sign up for a Sky+Netflix account, is there a Sky smart TV app?

Or is it possible to watch Sky content via the Netflix app assuming I have Sky+Netflix account?

Genie is a Peacock Original movie which Sky are showing on Sky Cinema. It is not available via Netflix, however you pay for it.

Your easiest option would be to get a Sky Cinema subscription for a month via the NOW app. If your smart TV has an app store you can hopefully download the NOW app if it's not already available.

If you want to watch this one film then you would be better off looking at NowTV which is another Sky run company as can stream on various TVs as seen here:

There is no Sky smart TV app in the UK, and it's not possible to watch Sky content through the Netflix app.

As @caesarome indicates, Sky content (including Sky Cinema) is typically available through NowTV, and that has an app on some of the smart television platforms.

Slight correction to the above: there is a Sky Store app on some platforms.
