Subscription in foreign countries

I do not live in the UK, and was wondering if I can purchase a sky sports subscription from outside the UK and use it to stream football games. Would it work properly, or would I just be wasting my money?

@Faizdxb  No, Sky can ony allow subscriptions to customers living in the UK & Ireland.

You will need to seek out a local Pay TV provider.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Sports cannot be subscribed to as a standalone product.  Even if you had a UK bank account and a UK address where either satellite television hardware could be installed or a Glass television delivered (because possession of one of those systems is a requirement for an active Sky television subscription) the Sky servers would then detect an overseas IP address (or that of a VPN provider) and refuse to provide data to you.
