Paramount plus

I gather many people are having problems with Paramount plus as am I.

I can log on to the channel get to main page up but cannot access any programs, it was working at first apart from slight buffering problems. But now all I get is blue screen error messages with varying fault codes.

I have had numerous calls to Sky over this and have new router all to no avail.

Also had Sky engineers out to say there is nothing wrong with the box and it's a known problem.

However I have found a way round this, I now log in on my android TV to Paramount plus, bypassing the Sky Q  box. Now everything works fine and I get a much better picture as well

Sky seem to be very reluctant to admit there is a problem with the app on their system.

Hope this might help someone if it hasn't been posted before.

To be honest, I would give the same advice for all the different platforms to anyone who can access them via their TV. I have apps on my TV for Amazon, Netflix, Apple TV+, Disney+, YouTube, & iPlayer & I always use them via my TV, even though I could use them via Sky Q, main reason being is that, as mentioned above, the PQ ( picture quality ) is much better.

Re: Paramount plus

I would use the TV's Paramount+ app if there was one. They have not released an LG TV app.

The P+ app is not available on many Smart TVs  unless they have Android OS  &  Samsung TVs  for example not yet on   LG & Panasonic

I use the app on Firestick as I can't get it on my TV

Not for all TVs. For example there is no Paramount+ app for LG or Panasonic.
